Guided Tour:

1. Start a new session: Monitor leaf colour continuously from 21 days after transplantation (DAT)/28 days after sowing (DAS) at weekly interval until 1 week after panicle initiation for varieties and up to flowering for hybrids.

2. The perfect timing: Leaf image reading should be taken in morning: 8 – 10AM.

3. Set of ten leaves: Ten topmost fully expanded leaves should be selected randomly from disease-free rice plants.

4. Image capturing:

  1. Hold a white paper sheet at the back of the leaf.
  2. Make sure the focus is proper on the leaf and no blur is present.
  3. AClick the image from a correct distance.
  4. Avoid direct sunlight.

Login Page:

An user ID and password will be generated while registering for the installation and use of the application through sharing the phone number and inserting OTP.

Add new session: starting a new session:

A new session can be created by clicking on the “Add new session” button where, images of 10 rice leaves are captured using the inbuilt camera of the android phone followed by auto- cropping of the leaves as per the region of interest. After all the 10 images are captured, proceed to apply the method for categorization and nitrogen fertilizer recommendation.

Dashboard: statistics for the previous performed activities

Whenever there is a need to observe the previous data, we can always visit the history using the “Dashboard” button. All the activities are listed with details of categorization and nitrogen fertilizer recommendation.
